Adult Care

Lower back pain is the most common of all adult ailments. It's estimated that 80% of Americans will experience at least one episode of disabling back pain in their lives.
To treat back pain, common medical practice calls for chemical pain relievers. Pain relievers, however, treat only the symptoms of back pain, and not the cause of the pain. Chiropractic adjustments have been proven, time and again, to go far beyond the relief of symptoms. The adjustments literally correct the spinal position, which immediately provides relief. Periodic adjustments are necessary to maintain the spinal position; these are merely "tune-ups" to keep you functioning normally.
Spinal injuries originate from a variety of sources - birth, sports injuries, car accidents, or slipping and falling, for example - and the pain associated with these injuries may lie dormant for years. Even emotional and chemical stress can cause cranial and spinal subluxations. Inevitably, scar tissue builds up around joints and nerves, muscles become swollen due to years of chronic subluxations, and voila, the pain begins.
If you're a young adult, chances are good your back feels great! But as you age, any damage you've incurred from your youth will have a cumulative negative effect. Getting adjustments NOW will probably save you a lot of misery LATER!
(For those of you who have never experienced chronic, ie, "never-ending" pain, I DON'T recommend it!)
